A promise

Last week I made a very public promise, and of course I always keep my promises.

On Facebook I declared that we would launch into our next big reveal once we had passed the 3,000 followers mark.

Did we achieve that?

Oh yes! We smashed and obliterated that target!! You guys are awesome.

Our Facebook page was a hive a wonderful, generous activity last week. Mariann Maray’s eye catching poster has received well over THREE HUNDRED shares – isn’t that just awesome?!

Twitter isn’t missing out either will lots & lots of retweets & declarations of support … don’t forget to use the #giveabook hashtag.

So. Now it is time for the big reveal ….

FANFARE please …

International Book Giving Day has been very lucky to have a wonderfully generous collection of illustrators who have design a stunning array of bookmarks and bookplates.

For you. For free.

We will be rolling them out over the next few weeks. Starting today.

What you need to do – share them on social media, download, print … tuck them into the books you will be gifting on 14th February 2014.

First up we have award winning Australian children’s author & illustrator Nicky Johnston who has generously designed two beautiful bookplates.

I adore these watercolours, and no, I simply can not decide which is my favourite I love them both! What do you think?

Feel free to visit Nicky’s FB page here to spread good karma.
